Introduction

To access all the features on Bipp, you need to complete the Know-Your-Customer (KYC) process. 
This process is essential to verify your identity and ensure secure transactions. Below is a step-by-step guide on how to complete your KYC.

1. Why Do You Need to Complete KYC?

KYC helps protect your account by ensuring that only verified users can access the platform. It also ensures that we comply with regulatory requirements for financial services.

2. How to Complete the KYC Process

Follow these steps to complete your KYC:

  1. Fill in Your Personal Information
    Provide your full name, date of birth, and address. If you are setting up a business account, you will need to provide business details as well.

  2. Upload Verification Documents
    You will need to submit a government-issued ID (passport, driver’s license, or national ID card) and/or a proof of address (such as a utility bill, bank statement, or lease agreement).

  3. Verify Your Identity
    Take a selfie or a live photo with your ID to verify that you are the person in the document.

  4. Submit Your Documents
    Once you've uploaded your documents and taken the necessary photos, submit them for review.

3. What Happens After You Submit Your KYC Documents?

After submission, our team will review your documents. This typically takes up to three (3) days. You’ll receive an email once your KYC has been approved.

4. What to Do If Your KYC is Rejected

If your KYC is rejected, don’t worry! Here are a few reasons this might happen and how to fix it:

  • Low-quality or blurry documents: Upload clear, legible photos.
  • Mismatch in details: Ensure the information you provided matches the documents exactly.
  • Invalid documents: Use only valid, government-issued IDs.

5. Accessing the Platform After KYC Approval

Once your KYC is approved, you’ll be able to access your dashboard, make deposits, process payment, withdraw funds, and use all the features available on Bipp.
